Gift

Charitable Remainder Trust
You may make a gift of assets by establishing a trust.
There are many different types of trusts providing fixed or variable income for one or two lives or a fixed term not to exceed 20 years, income tax advantages and ultimately a charitable gift. Win. Win. Win.
Over 70½? You may direct a gift of your IRA, up to $100,000, directly to VNHCH.
Transfers are tax-free and may satisfy minimum distributions, saving income tax.
You can name VNHCH as the owner and beneficiary of a new or no longer needed existing policy.
Making VNHCH the beneficiary of a remainder of your retirement account has tremendous tax benefits and will support the work of VNHCH for years to come.

Welcome to the Monarch Society
“Butterflies are deep and powerful representations of life. Many cultures associate the butterfly with our souls. Around the world, people view the butterfly as representing endurance, change, hope, and life. There is no doubt the butterfly has significant meanings to us.” Regina Cutter Edwards
The Monarch butterfly, in particular, is a magnificent symbol of journeys and transformations, much like our own lives. Along life’s journey, we all need the support of others. Since 1972, VNHCH has been here to assist the community with nursing, personal and rehabilitative care, and hospice services. We are here, bringing life to every day for those whom we serve.
You are invited to join our Monarch Society, a tradition of extraordinary generosity by adding your legacy to those who realize the important of planning a gift today to help generations of community members tomorrow.

Charitable
Bequest
You may make a provision within your Last Will & Testament.
This is perhaps the simplest way to make a planned gift and the vehicle most commonly used. While preparing a will is not always easy and will take much thought and discussion, it is essential. Everyone needs a will. Consider it your final love letter to family, friends and charities that you so graciously support in life.
One of the most gratifying reasons for having a will is the peace of mind that comes with it, knowing that you have provided for the needs of the ones you love and your favorite charities. Gifts made in your will might include cash, securities, real estate, life insurance or a percentage of your estate.
Giving Options ~ Making a Future Gift to VNHCH
Here are just a few ways that you might make a planned gift to Visiting Nurse Home Care & Hospice. The term “Planned Giving” describes the ways in which individuals make charitable gifts through a formal agreement such as a will or a trust. There are many vehicles for a planned gift, each providing a distinctive way to shape a substantial gift.
You may specify how you would like your planned gift to be used; such as a named endowment fund supporting Crossings, Hospice or operations.
Ask your financial advisor for more details or call VNHCH. We will work with your advisor to assure the perfect gift for you, your family and VNHCH. Click here to download the Monarch Society brochure.
