No one should feel alone when they are looking for local aging resources for caregiving, support or medical advice. Below are local and online resources that can help.

Gibson Center for Senior Services
The Gibson Center provides services that enables seniors to remain in their homes, while maintaining a high level of independence and quality of life. Their programs are designed to serve the needs of these seniors through nutrition programs (home delivery, congregate meals and nutrition education), transportation programs for the elderly and disabled to help meet their daily living needs, social and educational programs to enable them to stay actively involved in their communities with purpose and dignity, and referral and networking programs with related community service agencies.

Mount Washington Valley Age Friendly Community
The Gibson Center also facilitates the Mount Washington Valley Age Friendly Community initiative, and a member of the AARP Network of Age-Friendly Communities.

ServiceLink – Aging and Disability Resource Center
ServiceLink is a collaborative effort of the Administration on Community Living and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). ADRCs serve as single points of entry into the long-term support and services system for older adults and people with disabilities of all income levels.

Police offer a check in program for senior adults living alone using a daily phone call.
